Portable Track
For many years the club has owned an additional portable track which we have used to promote our sport at various exhibitions and displays across the South of England. At a rough count we believe that more than a million people have seen our displays of slot car racing over the years with around 25,000 having actually raced on the track. We had regular annual displays at the Brighton Model World show and have been hired by many organisations including various car dealerships (Nissan, Ford and Vauxhall), our local newspaper (The Argus) and even The Institute of Qualified Professional Secretaries! At these functions the club organised the racing and even provided the car bodyshells with the appropriate company's logo. Sadly the logistics of providing these displays has meant that we are no longer in a position to use our portable track to display our sport. The alternative that we can still offer is for your group to visit us in our clubroom in Brighton for an evenings racing. Please contact us for details.
