Production Classes
Classes designated as ‘Production’ are generally the slowest and simplest of our classes and are the ideal starting point for new members and beginners alike because everyone has identical, standard cars and therefore everyone has an equal chance of success without spending a lot of money. Within the Roedale Club, the term ‘Production’ is loosely used to cover no less than 3 similar, but distinctly different, classes.
1. Production Class:
This is the true Production Class! Cars in this class are built to full BSCRA Rules and use a simple 2 piece pressed steel production chassis. The class is further divided into 2 sub-classes – one for relatively low powered FK type Falcon, Hawk Retro or Hawk 7 motor and the other for quicker Super Wasp powered cars. Both sub-classes are fitted with sports type bodies.

2. BSCRA Intro 32 Class:
Cars in this class are built to strict rules around a standard ready-built laser cut ‘Genesis’ chassis, powered by a FK type Falcon,Hawk Retro or Hawk 7 motor and fitted with a sports type body. This class is designed to be a BSCRA National beginners’ class and is the ideal first car for a newcomer to our sport by providing very competitive low cost racing.

3. Roedale Club Class:
Our own 1/32 Club class is broadly similar to the BSCRA Intro 32 Class but the cars are fitted with a Club approved one-make BTCC Saloon body so that all cars are truly identical in construction and performance and provide equal opportunities and close racing for all Club members.
