Saloon Championship Round 2
Another very healthy turnout of 17 Members for this week's 2nd Round of our Saloon Championship.

The usual qualifying saw that man 'Mr Consistancy' Ian.B TQ ahead of a good challenge from Phil.M, Phil.H and Jody - and that damn quick Falcon!  Once again, all quite close behind them through the midfield with no real surprises apart from Stuart being relegated to 8th overall.

Our two Junior members had to leave early, so a bit of juggling by our expert Race Organiser gave us just 4 Finals.The 'D/E' Final resulted in an easy win for Chris.M - saving his best till last, ahead of Simon.WT and Christine.

All very well spread out at the end of the 'C' Final with Simon.J also putting in his best time of the evening to comfortably win from Roland, with Graham.R finishing ahead of Robin.

The 'B' Final was its customary good race with Stuart finally coming good to beat Malcolm and Ian.K - just over half a lap separating  the three, with Chris.C trailing home last.

One of the rare occasions when the 'A' Final was a good race!  Phil.M had threatened to end Ian.B's domination of saloon class all evening and finally just managed to beat him and take those 5 extra bonus points.  Phil.H finished 3rd ahead of Jody and his slowing Falcon.

All in all, another very good evenings racing with yet another overall win by that man Mr Barker - but there are signs that he can be beaten!
